**Estimated Salary:** $65,000 - $80,000 per year
At Mid-West Forge Corporation, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility.
The Maintenance Planner Specialist is responsible for coordinating the ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping of materials, supplies, and equipment. This includes:
- Compiling data from various sources to maintain inventory, purchasing, shipping, or other records.
- Receiving, unpacking, and storing incoming stock, with responsibility for the Stockroom.
- Managing back order files and releasing back orders for issue or shipment as stock becomes available.
- Compiling stock control records and information to determine stock supply and need for replenishment.
In addition to these duties, the Maintenance Planner Specialist will prepare requisitions, orders, or other documents for purchasing or requisitioning new or additional stock items. They will also verify accuracy of requisitions and shipping orders by comparing nomenclature, stock numbers, authorized substitutes, and other listed information with catalogs, manuals, parts lists, and similar references.
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and within a team. The successful candidate will have three to five years related experience and an Associate's degree preferred.
