Job Overview: As a pivotal member of the Product Development Platform Operations team, you will take charge of delivering, deploying, and sustaining robust environments for our advanced product lifecycle management (PLM) software and infrastructure. Our core principles focus on infrastructure-as-code and application configuration as code, leveraging tools like Ansible. Your role will involve innovating software engineering practices, enhancing software development processes, and creating efficient pipelines.

Key Responsibilities: You will be instrumental in advancing our software development ecosystem within the PDPO team. We seek an individual with extensive experience in the PLM domain to transform our customization deployment strategies, particularly with Dassault's 3DX platform. Your contributions will encompass:

  • Development of widgets and data integrations
  • Creation of APIs and API wrappers
  • Designing dashboards and interlinks
  • Facilitating cross-platform integrations

While we are open to various programming languages, we expect you to be proficient in one or more languages to establish best practices as our team expands. A willingness to embrace new methodologies is essential, including coding for all aspects of development, utilizing public cloud services, implementing pipelines, and engaging with LLM/ML and SaaS solutions.

Preferred Qualifications: Candidates should possess:

  • Experience with Tekton or GitHub Actions (Jenkins acceptable)
  • Familiarity with GCP and Apigee
  • Proficiency in GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, and GitHub Projects
  • Experience with Jira
  • A proactive attitude towards learning and adapting in a dynamic team environment
  • Functional knowledge of front-end and back-end web development
  • Experience in consuming APIs
  • Expertise in using open-source code
  • Strong understanding of Git/GitHub
  • Comprehension of DevOps principles
  • Effective use of an IDE (e.g., VSCode)

Experience Requirements: The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of experience with a PLM platform
  • 5+ years working with Dassault's 3DX product line
  • 3+ years in a leadership role within software development teams
  • 10+ years in a software development or engineering capacity
  • Experience in an AGILE working environment
