Job Overview

This position is for a full-time, on-site role as a Ground Up Superintendent. The successful candidate will oversee all construction activities at the site, manage subcontractors, coordinate with project teams, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and maintain project schedules and budgets. This role is situated in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

If you are passionate about seeing projects through to completion and possess strong leadership skills, this position may be ideal for you. We seek an individual with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction field and a dedication to managing teams effectively.

Compensation:

Starting at $90,000, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate subcontractor performance against schedules and success criteria to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
  • Guarantee that each construction project meets high-quality standards, supervise construction personnel, and conduct daily on-site evaluations.
  • Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations on construction sites to prevent accidents and delays, promptly reporting any issues to the project manager.
Required Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including relevant codes, permits, equipment, materials, project management principles, and construction techniques.
  • A valid general contractor license is essential.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a general contractor is required; additional management experience is preferred.
  • Completion of OSHA 30 training and a strong commitment to safety protocols on-site.
  • Physical capability to lift at least 40 lbs and operate heavy machinery.
