Key Responsibilities
  • Shipping and Receiving: Perform shipping and receiving duties with a sense of urgency, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain a high degree of attention to detail when receiving and processing inventory, including performing three-way matches and maintaining accurate records.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Arrange shipping with various carriers, paying close attention to cost and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Warehouse Operations: Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment, including the Grief shelf and documentation.
  • Package Distribution: Distribute packages within the company as required, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare shipping reports for management and maintain accurate records of goods shipped.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Repair wooden boxes, create cardboard boxes, and operate and maintain foam packaging systems.
  • Investigation and Resolution: Investigate shortages and miscounts within the receiving dock area and take corrective action as necessary.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or GED.
  • Experience: One or more years of experience with inventory management, preferably in a warehouse or logistics setting.
  • Skills: Highly organized and able to prioritize and multi-task, with patience and tolerance for interruptions and reprioritization.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to fulfill all physical and written tasks related to parts receiving, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
  • Knowledge: Comprehension of FAA requirements and procedures around receiving, as well as experience with ERP systems and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Equipment Operation: Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck, as well as experience with packaging and shipping software.
