Health Advocates Network, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our educational support staff, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver constructive feedback to students, fostering a climate that encourages active participation and meaningful learning experiences.
- Maintain accurate and efficient record-keeping procedures to ensure seamless communication and collaboration with colleagues.
- Establish a supportive environment that promotes student engagement and motivation.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues through regular oral and written interactions.
- Collaborate with peers to enhance the overall quality of feedback and support.
- Model professional and ethical standards in all interactions with students, parents, colleagues, and the community.
- Assume responsibility for meeting grading assignments and deadlines as set forth by the Instructional Leader.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the curriculum and school-wide student performance goals.
- Provide in-person support services at the assigned facility to meet the needs of students.
- Assist as an instructional facilitator or substitute at the discretion of the Instructional Leader.
- Meet professional obligations through efficient work habits, including meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, and coordinating resources and meetings in a timely manner.
- All work responsibilities are subject to having performance goals and/or targets established.
**Requirements:**
- Minimum one year (12 months) of experience as a Teacher Assistant.
- A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association).
