Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate customer orders through order entry and basic account servicing.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to collect customer information and product specifications.
  • Process new purchase orders, ensuring accurate delivery and shipping requirements.
  • Route supplies, job jackets, and materials to work areas to initiate production.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints in a timely manner, demonstrating excellent service and follow-through.
  • Prioritize workload to meet business needs, selecting from multiple alternatives when necessary.
  • Verify shipping reports against packing lists and review customer transaction reports.

Qualifications:

  • One to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred, with printing or packaging industry experience being a significant plus.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations, and to write reports and business correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, vendors, and customers.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts, including discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, and to read and interpret ruler, scales, and other measurement devices.
