Job Overview
The Room Service Attendant collaborates with the Housekeeping Management Team to maintain cleanliness in guest accommodations and communal areas, adhering to brand standards to ensure guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold the principles of exceptional service in all guest interactions, addressing complaints and special requests to ensure complete satisfaction.
- Clean and prepare assigned rooms or areas following established protocols, which include making beds, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, and disposing of waste.
- Potentially clean kitchen areas, including refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers, and dishware.
- Inform the supervisor upon completion of service to facilitate room availability for guests. Report any rooms that cannot be serviced according to established guidelines.
- When assigned to laundry duties, oversee laundry supplies and equipment, ensuring they are operational. Operate washers and dryers in accordance with hotel standards and manufacturer instructions. Inspect soiled linens for damage or stains and manage the folding and storage of clean linens, reporting any damages to the supervisor.
- Minimize waste of supplies and amenities throughout housekeeping areas.
- Occasionally assist with deep cleaning initiatives.
- Report necessary repairs or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
- Manage lost and found items in accordance with established procedures.
- Foster teamwork and quality service through effective communication and coordination with other shifts and departmental management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all levels.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred.
- Background in the extended stay industry is advantageous.
- Proficiency in English is preferred; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Basic skills in reading, writing, and mathematics are preferred.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, climb, kneel, and move throughout the facility.
- Capability to lift or carry items weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Regular use of commercial cleaning chemicals is required.
- Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is necessary.

Compensation:
The anticipated pay range is between $17.25 and $17.50 per hour, subject to variation based on job-related knowledge, skills, and overall experience.
