About the Opportunity

As an Onsite Medical Partner at OccuMedX Group Inc., you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of construction site workers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Emergency Medical Care:
    • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide high-quality care to injured or ill workers.
    • Document all medical interventions and treatments provided.
  • Prevent Injuries and Ensure Safety:
    • Conduct regular site safety audits to identify potential hazards.
    • Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement effective safety protocols.
    • Develop and deliver training programs on first aid, CPR, and workplace safety.
  • Enhance Workplace Wellness:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive workplace wellness programs.
    • Conduct regular health screenings and assessments to monitor worker health.
    • Provide education and resources to support healthy behaviors.
  • Manage Medical Equipment and Supplies:
    • Ensure the availability and maintenance of medical equipment and supplies.
    • Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain stock levels.
    • Oversee the storage and organization of medical supplies.
  • Maintain Accurate Records:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medical incidents and treatments.
    • Prepare incident reports and injury logs.
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Candidates must possess current EMT/Paramedic certification and active BLS certification.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in pre-hospital or clinical environments is preferred.
  • OSHA 30 Construction certification is required within the first 30 days.
  • Familiarity with occupational health and safety regulations is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations is necessary.
  • Physical stamina, including comfort with heights and occasional work at heights, is required.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is essential.

Estimated salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
