Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer Intern/Co-Op to join our team at Spacesaver. As a key member of our Product Engineering group, you will be responsible for supporting the design and development of our product lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide design support for new products and maintenance of existing products to support performance, manufacturing, quality, and cost improvements.
  • Produce designs and documentation in a timely fashion to meet project deadlines.
  • Utilize ProEngineer/Creo to generate solid models and drawings to accurately and completely document product designs.
  • Maintain proper documentation and follow procedures for projects, engineering change orders, and release of product as outlined in ISO work instructions.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated solid modeling and drafting capability, preferably with ProEngineer/Creo, AutoCAD experience is also beneficial.
  • Demonstrated experience with sheet metal design and modeling is preferred.
  • Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet use.
  • Good oral, written, organizational, time management and communication skills are essential.
