Role Overview:
Under the guidance of a Lead Technician, Maintenance Supervisor, or Maintenance Manager, the Equipment Maintenance Specialist is responsible for conducting preventive maintenance on both diesel and non-diesel equipment and vehicles. This role requires a foundational understanding of vehicle systems to perform routine maintenance and repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems to execute preventive maintenance and repairs.
- Conduct visual inspections to identify potential equipment issues and troubleshoot malfunctions using various tools.
- Complete relevant company training programs.
- Basic electrical tasks, such as light replacements.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification T8 PM is a plus but not required.
