Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our Orthopedic Trauma Surgery team at OSF HealthCare. As a key member of our team, you will provide advanced nursing and physician assistant functions, working closely with our surgeons and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in surgery as a first assist, working closely with our surgeons to ensure the highest level of patient care.
  • Conduct Ortho patient follow-ups, performing joint injections and other procedures as needed.
  • Rotate through the call schedule, supporting our surgeons on call and providing coverage for our patients.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Requirements
  • Licensed to provide Advanced Practice Nurse Services or Physician Assistant Services.
  • Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and State of Illinois for prescribing of narcotics.
