We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Accounting Professional to join our team at IMMI. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our costing system to ensure accurate product costing and inventory values.
Key Responsibilities- Cost System Management: Develop, analyze, and present timely financial metrics to drive business decision-making.
- Inventory Management: Lead the organization in developing and maintaining accurate inventory transactions, including shipping, receiving, material movement, scrap, and job completions.
- Financial Analysis: Prepare and analyze monthly material, labor, and overhead variances, and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts associated with standard cost, inventory, and WIP.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate the costing system and recommend improvements to maintain an accurate global costing structure that meets the company's changing business needs.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Experience: 3+ years of cost accounting experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Skills: Advanced Excel skills, excellent problem-solving and analysis skills, and a solid understanding of proper GAAP.
