Job Responsibilities

This role involves assisting in the repair and overhaul of equipment, refrigeration, heating, and ventilation systems. You will:

  • Provide service to customers by repairing and overhauling equipment, such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and electrical and mechanical control devices.
  • Maintain legible corporate and personal records of work history.
  • Process job tickets and work orders promptly.
  • Perform minor construction and remodeling projects, including startups of new installations.
  • Drive company vehicles safely and efficiently.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • EPA certification.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of commercial refrigeration experience, preferably working on refrigeration equipment in convenience stores or supermarkets.
  • Familiarity with single systems and rack systems, as well as previous work on display cases and walk-in boxes.
  • Good driving record and ability to work independently.
  • Emergency on-call availability.
  • The ability to lift 60 lbs. without assistance and sit/stand for several hours.
