Human Resources Assistant

Envirogen Group is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support various HR functions, contributing to the overall efficiency of the HR department and ensuring a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support day-to-day recruiting activities for North America growth initiatives.
  • Enter data in the applicant tracking system (ATS), including applicant status, interview tracking, interview feedback and comments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refer more complex questions to HR Director or appropriate management.
  • Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Perform periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now products is preferred, however must have experience working within an HRIS System.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to interface and discuss issues with all levels of the organization.
  • Must be detail oriented and well organized to balance and prioritize work.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Be professionally motivated with a desire to learn.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
