Job Summary

Zachry Group is seeking an experienced Document Control Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of project documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Change Management: Serve as a point of contact for the change management process, overseeing daily activities related to change management.
  • Document Control: Read and understand prime contracts, joint venture agreements, and purchase orders to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Documentation Development: Lead the development of entitlement and the development, substantiation, submission, and close-out of potential changes.
  • Tracking and Reporting: Ensure proper tracking of extra work cost and hours using timesheets and/or event capture software, and develop forecasts for extra work cost and schedule.
  • Communication: Support the preparation and distribution of periodic reports, tracking tools, dashboards, scorecards, and other documentation as required.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, and ability to quickly learn new processes and adapt to changes.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with varying hours as required to support construction operations.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment, with multiple locations, including an office, warehouse, and construction sites. The position will require mobility, with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
