Decypher invites you to join our professional team as a Mammography Technologist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing screening and diagnostic mammograms, including spot compressions and magnification views when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive patients and provide appropriate care, including scheduling and procedural instructions.
  • Perform daily cleaning and quality control inspections on mammography units and radiologist reading stations.
  • Coordinate with BAMC general surgery nurse and mammography nurse to ensure referral and orders are entered into MHSG.
  • Prepare weekly biopsy schedule for mammography radiologist and staff.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of an Associates of Applied Science degree in Radiological Technology or completed at least twenty-four (24) months of an American Medical Association (AMA) accredited Radiological Technology course.
  • ARRT Certification and completion of Certified Operator Training on specific Prodigy/Lunar (GE)Bone Densitometer equipment within 30 days of hire.
  • Possess and maintain an active current, valid, and unrestricted license from a US jurisdiction before practicing independently within the defined scope of practice for their specialty.
  • 2 years of mammography experience within the last three years.
  • CPR Certification and US Citizenship.
