Job Overview
The Inventory Specialist plays a pivotal role in maintaining accurate product counts and investigating discrepancies within the warehouse at Excell Marketing LC. This position demands attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Achieve daily cycle count targets with precision and accuracy.
  • Verify purchase order numbers, UPC codes, and quantity of each item for adjustments.
  • Prominently prepare receiving forms and submit them to the office by required deadlines.
  • Distribute products among customers, place them on skids, and assign locations efficiently.
  • Loading and unloading trucks at the dock as necessary.
  • Investigate warehouse inventory discrepancies upon manager's request.
  • Reserve product for new-store roll-outs when needed.
  • Bringing down skids of restock product to reorder areas or requested.
  • Update changes to product location reports promptly.
  • Prepare return to vendor orders and consolidate dead stock.

Requirements:
  • Maintain the ability to accurately count diverse products.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capacity to lift 30-50 lbs. repetitively.
  • Ability to meet established time and quality control goals for this area.
  • Excellent attention to detail is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with basic computer operations and accurate data entry skills.
  • Safe operation of a forklift is essential.
