Job Summary

At Gehl Foods, we are seeking a skilled Mixing Operator 2nd shift to join our production team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency in our food production process.

This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will work closely with our Operations Supervisor to achieve our production goals. If you are a detail-oriented and organized individual with a passion for food production, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mix and blend ingredients according to recipes and processing standards.
  • Ensure accurate measurement and weighing of ingredients.
  • Monitor and control temperature and other critical parameters.
  • Identify and report any malfunctions or issues with equipment.
  • Perform basic analytical testing procedures on incoming materials and finished products.
  • Maintain accurate records and inventory levels.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Basic mathematical calculations skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry containers weighing up to 60 lbs.
  • Demonstrated organizational and detail-oriented skills.
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School or Equivalency Diploma.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
  • Previous forklift experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools.
