Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity SME to join our team at Caliber Sourcing. This role will focus on developing and delivering security assessments, documentation, and vulnerability management to meet required security standards.

About the Role

This is a challenging position that requires excellent analytical and writing skills to effectively communicate and deliver on required life-cycle deliverables. As a Cybersecurity SME, you will be responsible for designing and documenting security controls for client network and infrastructure elements, conducting risk assessments, and validating security controls using Federal Certification and Accreditation (C&A) processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and document security controls for client network and infrastructure elements.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of current infrastructure environments and perform risk assessments.
  • Validate security controls using Federal Certification and Accreditation (C&A) processes.
  • Actively coordinate and support 3-4 C&A initiatives per year for ATO renewal or update for IT systems.
  • Develop System Security Plans and standard operating procedures for Federal Information Systems.
  • Understand and develop Privacy Impact Assessments.
  • Closely work with federal stakeholders, including Information System Security Officers (ISSOs), to maintain high-security posture of IT systems.
Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident.
  • Eligible for U.S. Government Clearance.
Qualifications:
  • Eight years of progressively responsible IT Security assessment and authorization-related responsibilities.
  • Eight years of experience directly performing Assessments and Authorizations, knowledge of specific NIST guidelines.
  • Knowledge of Federal government security guidelines, including Federal government C&A practices and policies.
  • Knowledge of moderate and high-impacting security control families listed in NIST Publication 800-53 Rev5.
  • Experience in client-facing situations and dealing with security standards and protocols.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Salary:

$140,000 - $160,000 per annum.
