Registered Nurse for Residential Care

Adecco Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide essential care within a residential group home environment. This role is located in a community setting, focusing on delivering quality healthcare to residents.
Compensation
$30-$33.50 per hour
Work Schedule
- Part-Time (20 hours per week)
- Required shifts on Mondays: 8am-3pm or 4pm
- Flexibility for additional days/times
- Weekend availability is optional
- On-call duties will be integrated into the schedule after a few months
Key Responsibilities
Engage regularly with residents to foster relationships and evaluate their health conditions, ensuring that any communicable diseases and infections are properly monitored. Maintain comprehensive documentation using PrecisionCare software, which includes health records and nursing service plans. Oversee medical and health-related services, administer prescribed medications, and ensure adherence to OPWDD regulations.
Provide training and support to residential staff, maintain effective communication with healthcare professionals, and actively participate in safety and interdisciplinary team meetings.
Additionally, manage on-call responsibilities, review incident reports, and contribute to the development of medical protocols.Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York State.
- At least six months of professional nursing experience.
- Proven ability to care for clients with developmental disabilities.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred.
- Valid NY State Driver's License.
- Capability to lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Certifications & Training
- NYS Medication Administration and OPWDD Nursing Certification
- SCIPr certification
- Other OPWDD mandated training
