Job Summary

Adecco Healthcare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our client's team in Rush, NY, with occasional opportunities in West Henrietta, NY. This is a direct-hire, part-time, and permanent position offering a competitive hourly rate of $30-$33.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build rapport with residents, assess their health status, and monitor communicable diseases and infections.
  • Complete and maintain accurate documentation using PrecisionCare software, including health information files and nursing service plans.
  • Coordinate medical and health-related services, administer prescribed medications, and ensure compliance with OPWDD regulations.
  • Provide training and support for residential staff, maintain effective communication with healthcare providers, and participate in safety and interdisciplinary team meetings.
  • Handle on-call responsibilities, review incident reports, and assist with medical protocol development.
Requirements
  • RN NY State License.
  • Minimum of six months professional nursing experience required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in providing care and support for clients with developmental disabilities.
  • Associates Degree in Nursing, Bachelors preferred.
  • NY State Driver's License.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • BLS
Preferred Certifications & Trainings
  • NYS Medication Administration and OPWDD Nursing Certification.
  • SCIPr.
  • All other trainings mandated by the OPWDD.
