Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Cardiac team at Riverview Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care services, including vital signs, specimen collection, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Current and valid Alabama state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain current.
  • IV certification within 30 days and maintain current.
  • ACLS (AHA) certification within 60 days and maintain current.
  • One year experience in an applicable setting, preferred.
