Job Summary

The Research Foundation for SUNY is seeking an experienced Program Coordinator to support the Empire State Service Corps, a brand new AmeriCorps program. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting program operations, including supporting the program director, and responsible for the back-end support of the program (records management, program outcome tracking, compliance activities.)

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation of nearly $3 million federal AmeriCorps grant to 40+ subgrantees through various activities
  • Review and submit quarterly time reports submitted by campuses
  • Work with campus liaisons on onboarding processes for AmeriCorps members
  • Facilitate compliance and reporting by making sure hours are reported timely and accurately
  • Copy-edit the development and writing of the broader AmeriCorps grant for the project
  • Assist with professional development and training plans to be given to the 400 Corps members
  • Support the planning and organization of a summit for the corps members
  • Communicate with campus liaisons on various program initiatives
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and 1 year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple competing priorities
  • Strong time management skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills including working with multiple campus contacts, especially written communication
  • Comfortable with grant reporting requirements and ability to keep required documentation especially AmeriCorps or federal grant reporting
Compensation

The compensation for this role is between $65,000 to $75,000. The pay will depend on a variety of factors that may include but are not limited to experience, education, training, and certifications.
