Position Overview:

Collins Aerospace is on the lookout for a skilled professional to become a vital member of our Mission Systems Finance IPP&C team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate scheduling tasks for programs with moderate to high risk, ensuring alignment with contractual goals.
  • Leverage expertise in earned value management and scheduling software (SAP, Cobra, Microsoft tools) to track and report on performance metrics.
  • Address complex challenges and assist in the formulation of scheduling standards and methodologies.
  • Coordinate integrated master plans and schedules across various functional teams to achieve program targets.
  • Conduct assessments of schedule risks and apply project management techniques to monitor progress and identify discrepancies.
  • Independently develop Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) models, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
  • Lead training sessions for program specialists and junior schedulers, promoting proficiency in scheduling practices.
  • Contribute to the evolution of new concepts, techniques, and standards, recognized as an expert within the organization.
  • Ensure all Statement of Work (SOW) discrete scope is accurately represented in the IMS, assisting program teams in developing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) in accordance with industry standards.
  • Apply company policies, procedures, and guidelines to guarantee compliance in plans and schedules.
  • Understand and adhere to requirements outlined in relevant industry guidelines.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and ethical standards, focusing on effective issue resolution.
Required Qualifications:
  • A University Degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience, or 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • U.S. citizenship is mandatory due to government contractual obligations.
  • Experience in Earned Value Management (EVMS).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with SAP and Earned Value Cost Management Software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in presenting to large audiences and leadership.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eligibility to obtain a DOD Security clearance.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% as required.
