We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Receptionist to join our team at Shelbourne Personal Care. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and residents, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:- Administrative Functions: Maintain accurate resident census, emergency contact lists, and reference telephone numbers.
- Personnel Functions: Assist department personnel in identifying and correcting problem areas, and create a positive atmosphere throughout the department.
- Staff Development: Attend in-service educational classes and on-the-job training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Safety and Sanitation: Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Resident Rights: Maintain confidentiality of resident care information and ensure resident rights are protected.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: None required; on-the-job training provided.
- Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to work independently, and knowledge of supply practices and procedures.
Working Conditions: Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday, work in a fast-paced environment, and be subject to frequent interruptions.
Physical and Sensory Requirements: Must be able to see, hear, and speak effectively, and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
