Sales and Account Executive

**About the Role**
We are seeking a seasoned Sales and Account Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating sales of CAE software products and developing long-term customer relationships for Detroit Engineered Products' mid-western and west coast locations.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience. They will also possess expertise in marketing and promoting software products to end customers, including OEMs in various industries such as automotive, aerospace, defense, and consumer products.
Key responsibilities will include managing a portfolio of accounts, developing positive relationships with clients, acting as the point of contact for individual customer needs, generating new business using existing and potential customer networks, resolving conflicts and providing solutions to customers in a timely manner, and supervising account representatives to ensure sales increase.
The successful candidate will also be expected to report on the status of accounts and transactions, set and track sales account targets aligned with company objectives, and monitor sales metrics such as quarterly sales results and annual forecasts.
