Key Responsibilities- Medical Evaluations and Treatment: Conduct thorough medical evaluations and provide treatment to patients under the supervision of the Medical Director.
- Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Work collaboratively with medical and clinical staff to provide quality care to patients.
- Patient Assessment and Care Planning: Assess the physical and psychiatric health of patients and develop measures to meet their needs.
- Charting and Communication: Chart clinical observations, evaluations, and treatment plans in a timely manner, and communicate with physicians and other staff as necessary.
- Family Involvement and Education: Encourage family involvement in patient care and respond to identified patient and family educational needs.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with state guidelines for Nurse Practitioners, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements.
- On-Call Responsibilities: Provide on-call services on a scheduled basis, as directed by the medical staff.
- Education: Master's degree in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner program required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience as a Practicing Nurse Practitioner, with clinical experience working with the patient population of the facility.
- Licenses and Certifications: Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner required, DEA license, and licensed to practice in the state where the facility operates.
