Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize all equipment, including dishes, pots, pans, tools, utensils, tables, and chairs.
  • Maintain a neat appearance of working areas and employee and customer bathrooms.
  • Organize and maintain bakery supplies and deliveries.
  • Assist in putting away and maintaining the organization of food, paper, and other supply deliveries.
  • Keep bakery grounds clean by sweeping and mopping floors, breaking down cardboard boxes, emptying trash cans, taking out recycling, cleaning windows and doors, walls, floorboards, moldings, and baseboards.
  • Transport food or other products/items from storage rooms.
  • Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies.
Requirements:
  • Hands-on, flexible, and highly responsive.
  • High energy, positive person who takes pride in their work.
  • Able to work with a diverse group of people.
  • Follows all policies and procedures.
  • Takes direction and constructive criticism well, will ask questions if needed.
  • Understands expectations of role and works within the boundaries of the role.
  • Organized, good time management skills.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
  • Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening, and hearing ability and visual acuity.
  • Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, coworkers, and management.
  • Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.
  • Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
