Cybersecurity Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to support the implementation and integration of unified security and endpoint management solutions. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the knowledge transition process, ensuring seamless integration and effective utilization of these solutions within our security infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and operational teams to implement and transition unified security and endpoint security solutions.
- Oversee complex infrastructure by installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining application software and system management tools.
- Facilitate the knowledge transition process, training team members on the functionality and best practices of unified security and endpoint management solutions.
- Assist in the configuration, deployment, and integration of the unified security and endpoint management solutions into existing security frameworks and workflows.
- Monitor and maintain systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with security policies.
- Develop and document integration procedures, workflows, and best practices for ongoing operations.
- Provide support for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Qualys products.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure alignment of security protocols and policies.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging threats to continually enhance our security posture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 7+ years of proven experience in implementing and managing solutions such as endpoint protection, Patch and Asset Management, Web based threat protection, end point management, and vulnerability management solutions.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, vulnerability assessment methodologies, and threat protection strategies.
- Familiarity with integration of security tools and platforms in a complex IT environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CASP+, CISM, CEH, CISSP) are a plus.
