We are in search of a Industrial Maintenance Scheduler to become a vital member of the Refinery Services team.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance planner to engage with Rio Tinto Minerals, a global leader in borate production.

Reporting to the Superintendent of Planning & Scheduling , you will work collaboratively to:

Enhance the efficiency of personnel, equipment, and work quality by addressing potential delays and barriers to effective task execution. Strategically prioritize and plan work activities in alignment with the objectives of maintenance, operations, and project teams. Develop a weekly maintenance schedule that is realistic and utilizes approximately 70% of workforce capacity. Provide strong leadership to ensure adherence to work management standards and established procedures. Foster a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with safety regulations and HSE standards. Manage the sourcing and ordering of materials and tools for work orders, and track orders with suppliers for timely staging and scheduling. Support maintenance execution by creating practical plans that identify all necessary resources and accurate estimates. Offer guidance on SAP to maintenance personnel and relevant system users throughout the facility.

Qualifications

A strong commitment to safety for yourself and your colleagues. At least 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance. Proven experience in maintenance planning and scheduling is essential. Familiarity with SAP and experience in a unionized environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Project. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills are advantageous.
