Catholic Health Services of Long Island is seeking a dedicated and skilled Trauma Director to lead our trauma care team. As a key member of our hospital's leadership, you will be responsible for ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in general surgery and a strong understanding of trauma care protocols. They must also be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of multi-disciplinary care for trauma patients, from initial treatment to discharge.
- Collaborate with critical care teams to provide high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans for geriatric patients.
Requirements:
- Board-certified general surgeon or eligible for certification by the American Board of Surgery.
- Current in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and maintain 36 hours of trauma-related CME during the verification cycle.
- Possess authority to manage all aspects of trauma care and coordinate with subspecialists.
