Cardiac Surgical Advanced Practice Provider Opportunity

Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (PA or CRNP) to join our team of cardiac surgeons and APPs. Our cardiac surgical practice performs approximately 900 cases annually, offering expertise in coronary revascularization, off-pump CABG, aortic and mitral valve replacement, and more.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee post-operative patient management in our telemetry/step-down unit
  • Pre-operative preparation and scheduling of patients awaiting open heart surgery
  • Initial patient encounters and workup of new consultations to our practice
  • Collaborate with cardiac surgeons and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements
  • Nurse Practitioner: Valid Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Nurse, certification by ANCC or other qualifying agency, and valid Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner license and Certificate of Prescriptive Authority
  • Physician Assistant: Current licensure as a Physician Assistant by PA Board of Medicine, graduate of Accredited Physician Assistant training program, and minimum one year experience as a Physician Assistant
