Job Summary

The Store Support Teammate is a vital member of our retail team, responsible for delivering exceptional Guest experiences and supporting sales efforts. This role requires a friendly and engaging attitude, with the ability to answer questions and provide information about our store and merchandise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet Guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor, and be prepared to answer questions about the store and its products.
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) software to complete Guest transactions and bag purchases efficiently.
  • Maintain and share knowledge of current sales and promotions, as well as policies regarding payment and exchanges.
  • Monitor and recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations.
  • Assist the Operations Manager and/or Visual Merchandiser in performing merchandising tasks, such as preparing displays, organizing fixtures and shelving, and completing price markdowns.
  • Consistently maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable store environment that reflects Buckle's mission statement.
  • Understand and apply Buckle's Code of Ethics and all company policies, procedures, and handbooks.
  • Fulfill Buckle's mission statement by performing job duties with a high level of Guest service and contributing to a positive team spirit.
Requirements
  • No prior experience or training is required for this role.
  • The physical demands of this job include standing, walking, using hands and fingers, reaching, climbing, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
