They will be responsible for managing cash flow, tracking fixed assets, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Additionally, they will assist in developing policies and procedures, as well as maintain accurate records.

This position requires a high level of intellectual capacity, strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Cash Flow Management: Analyze and manage cash flow, including weekly and monthly bank reporting requirements, daily internal reporting, and daily reconciliation.
  • Fixed Asset Tracking: Track and capitalize fixed assets, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Tax Compliance: Assist in ensuring compliance with tax regulations, including sales and use tax, estimated tax payments, business license renewals, and state annual reports.
  • Policies and Procedures: Assist in developing and documenting policies and procedures, including system requirements and internal controls.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records, including journal entries and reconciliations.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in general accounting and month-end close processes.
  • Skills: Advanced computer skills, including Excel and major ERP systems (Oracle and Epicor preferred). CPA/CMA certification a plus.
