Financial Analyst

Cox Consulting Network is a renowned consulting firm seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join its team. Located in Georgetown, TX, this role offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to the company's growth.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, with expertise in financial analysis and month-end close processes. They will be responsible for managing cash flow, tracking fixed assets, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Additionally, they will assist in developing policies and procedures, as well as maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities:

• Cash Flow Management: Analyze and manage cash flow, including weekly and monthly bank reporting requirements, daily internal reporting, and daily reconciliation.
• Fixed Asset Tracking: Track and capitalize fixed assets, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
• Tax Compliance: Assist in ensuring compliance with tax regulations, including sales and use tax, estimated tax payments, business license renewals, and state annual reports.
• Policies and Procedures: Assist in developing and documenting policies and procedures, including system requirements and internal controls.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records, including journal entries and reconciliations.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in general accounting and month-end close processes.
• Skills: Advanced computer skills, including Excel and major ERP systems (Oracle and Epicor preferred). CPA/CMA certification a plus.
