The Retail Operations Supervisor collaborates with the management team to grasp daily, weekly, and monthly store objectives. They actively contribute to merchandise placement, fulfillment, and store upkeep.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Enhance the in-store experience by exemplifying exemplary behaviors, coaching team members to meet store objectives, and promptly addressing customer inquiries and feedback.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience by upholding store standards, completing all tasks related to daily operations, including store cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Meet and surpass performance metrics by understanding and communicating daily, weekly, and monthly goals effectively.
  • Review daily communications; plan and delegate tasks throughout the day/week/month, ensuring follow-through on required actions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Store Manager or other leadership.
  • Boost sales and success by maintaining an organized sales floor and stockroom, facilitating merchandise flow for an appealing customer experience.
  • Oversee inventory management activities, including freight receipt, placement, markdowns, and more.
  • Manage all omni-channel activities in-store, including Charge/Send, BOPIS/BOSTS, and Delivery.
  • Utilize inventory reports to optimize productivity and merchandise presentation on the sales floor.
  • Ensure a safe environment for customers and associates by regularly checking equipment and maintaining safety standards.
  • Maintain supply inventory to support effective floor moves, markdowns, and fulfillment in stockroom and non-sales areas.
  • Complete all documentation related to audits, donations, transfers, and damages.
  • Support the Store Manager in executing the company's Mission, Vision, and Strategy within the store.
  • Collaborate closely with the Store Manager to adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new team members.
  • Support team development through training, coaching, and providing constructive feedback.
  • Assist in resolving associate relations issues alongside the Store Manager.
  • Participate in the performance review process by conducting evaluations for associates and leads.
  • Help manage payroll and timekeeping activities for associates.
  • Recognize and celebrate team achievements through company recognition programs.

Required Skills and Competencies:
  • Exceptional customer service skills, demonstrating a positive attitude and enthusiasm.
  • Aptitude for managing ambiguous situations and resolving conflicts.
  • Ability to foster collaborative working relationships.
  • Capability to identify critical issues and take decisive action.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Some college education preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
