Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN to join our skilled nursing facility team. As a charge nurse, you will lead a team of caregivers who are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities
  • Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing aides and support staff
  • Provide or monitor direct, prescribed nursing care to residents, such as changing dressings, drawing blood, changing catheters, inserting or removing NG tubes, etc.
  • Update care plans as needed and notify physician or advanced practitioner about changes in a resident's condition
  • Perform administrative duties like documenting assessments and ordering supplies
  • Admit, transfer, and discharge residents
  • Perform emergency procedures like CPR and, in the event of death, notify family and appropriate parties
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Currently licensed in the state of Tennessee as a licensed practical nurse (LPN), required
  • Currently licensed in the state of Tennessee as a registered nurse (RN), preferred
  • Current CPR Certification
Other Requirements
  • Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, including possible overtime, shift changes, and weekends
  • Job will require frequent lifting of objects up to 50 pounds
Sign-on Bonus Terms
  • Full Time Only
  • $8,000.00 – Paid out in equal monthly increments over 12 months of employment.
  • New employees only - Current employees and rehires are not eligible.
