Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrophysiology Technician to join our team at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. In this role, you will be responsible for performing as a monitor tech and scrub tech, maintaining sterile technique, and operating and maintaining diagnostic and therapeutic EP equipment used for procedures.
About the Job
As an Electrophysiology Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Preparing patients for and assisting physicians during testing and treatment procedures in the Electrophysiology Lab
- Maintaining sterile technique and operating and maintaining diagnostic and therapeutic EP equipment used for procedures
- Performing baseline patient assessments and evaluating patient response to diagnostic or interventional maneuvers and medications during Electrophysiology laboratory procedures
- Providing patient care and administering drugs commonly used in the EP lab as directed by a qualified physician
- Being proficient in basic cardiac life support and operating specific EP equipment according to manufacturer instructions
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A graduate degree from an accredited school of cardiovascular or radiographic technology or equivalent education/experience
- Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification upon hire, or Washington Radiologic Technologist certification, or National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International, or National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire, and National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire
- A minimum of 6 months of cardiac internship during education, and prior experience in a technical capacity is preferred

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $48.74-$80.37 per hour, plus shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, and overtime pay may be available.
