Role Summary:

As the Nursing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) within a reputable medical facility. The NICU is equipped with 49 beds and typically accommodates over 30 patients, supported by a dedicated team of approximately 141 nursing professionals. This position also entails oversight of the Pediatric Unit and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the provision of nursing services, ensuring patient care is delivered safely and meets or surpasses established quality and clinical benchmarks.
  • Establish and uphold patient care standards, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Formulate strategic initiatives for integrated service delivery across the healthcare continuum.
  • Implement systems aimed at the continuous enhancement of clinical practices and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee departmental financial management, identify cost-reduction opportunities, and enhance care quality.
  • Assess staffing needs, recruit, train, and mentor nursing personnel.
  • Develop and evaluate departmental policies and procedures.
  • Address human resource and risk management challenges.
  • Foster a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with established standards and guidelines.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of clinical nursing experience, including at least three (3) years in a management or supervisory capacity.
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and National Health/Nursing Administration Certification or a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) are required for leadership roles in NICU and PICU departments within certified facilities.
