Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Havenwyck Hospital, a Joint Commission-accredited and licensed psychiatric hospital in Auburn Hills, Michigan. As a Registered Nurse on our psychiatric unit, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with a range of mental health needs, including children, adolescents, and adults.
Responsibilities- Assess mental health needs and develop individualized care plans
- Provide nursing care and interventions to promote patient well-being and recovery
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Monitor medication effects and side effects, and ensure patient safety
- Participate in milieu management and crisis intervention strategies
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Current status as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Michigan
- One year of nursing experience in a psychiatric setting preferred
- Current certification in Non-violent Crisis Intervention and BLS/CPR preferred
