Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Service Technician to join our team at Whaley Foodservice. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment. If you have a strong background in electrical, HVAC/R, and mechanical systems, and excellent customer service skills, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment
  • Communicate with customers and branch office to ensure timely completion of service calls
  • Monitor truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked on vehicle
  • Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms representative of Whaley quality
  • Meet reasonable on-call requirements
Requirements
  • Two to three years of experience in commercial kitchen repair of HVAC equipment and some experience with refrigeration equipment
  • Strong electrical, HVAC/R, and mechanical background
  • Commercial kitchen cooking experience a plus
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen
  • Valid Driver's license and driving record that aligns with safety standards
