HVAC and Refrigeration Service Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled HVAC and Refrigeration Service Technician to join our team at Tech-24 A Commercial Food Service Repair Company, Inc. As a Commercial HVAC/R Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Inspect equipment and related components to identify potential issues and recommend preventative maintenance.
  • Communicate with customers and branch staff to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Complete service tickets according to company procedures and protocols.
  • Manage inventory and track stock levels to ensure necessary parts are available for repairs.
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and uniforms to Tech-24 standards.
  • Set a positive example for less experienced technicians by demonstrating company values and policies.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • 3-5 years of related experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration repair.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work independently.
  • Standard computer skills and ability to learn company software.
  • Industry-standard hand tools and ability to climb ladders, work from heights, and crawl in tight quarters.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the region and work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new techniques and approaches.
  • Universal EPA certification highly preferred.
