Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist II to join our team at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient pulmonary care in accordance with JCAHO, State, Hospital, and Departmental Standards
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct respiratory assessments and develop treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and mechanical ventilation
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Requirements
  • American Heart Association BLS Certification
  • MDBPQA Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner
  • Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college)
