Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced RF Technician II to join our crew. As an RF Technician II, you will play a vital role in the installation, replacement, and repair of antenna systems equipment on communication towers. This role demands familiarity with industry tools, materials, and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute tower ascents to set up, substitute, and fix antenna systems equipment.
  • Show skillfulness in utilizing tools and materials specific to the telecommunications sector.
  • Capability to acquire and enhance proficiency in constructing antenna sector frames, antennas, RRU/RRH (Remote Radio Units/Remote Radio Heads), Power and Fiber Distribution systems in line with industry norms.
  • Enthusiasm to develop skills in laying coaxial cables, power, and fiber trunks, and establishing coax connections to ensure consistent RF signal transmission.
  • Readiness to become skilled in tower stacking and tower adjustment.
  • Acknowledge and reduce risks linked with tower climbing, construction materials, and working in close proximity to energized lines and equipment.
  • Resolve and communicate equipment performance dilemmas.
  • Maintain professionalism in interactions with team members, supervisors, and project managers.
  • Readiness to travel overnight and operate in unfavorable weather conditions.

Requirements:

  • Good organizational abilities and attentiveness to detail.
  • At ease with heights and physical duties like scaling towers, squatting, bending, and lifting (up to 50lbs).
  • Ownership of a valid Driver's License or CDL is advantageous.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Solid listening skills and a desire to learn.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug (including marijuana) and background screenings.
  • Resident in the local market.
