Table Host/Hostess Job Summary

Main Responsibilities:
  • Welcome guests warmly and communicate the wait time.
  • Seat guests based on server availability and guest preferences.
  • Offer menus and inform guests of available specials.
  • Provide silverware and maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Effectively manage phone calls and monitor reservations.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience as a host/hostess, server, or busser is highly valued.
  • A friendly, outgoing personality is essential for this role.
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary for building strong relationships with guests.
  • The ability to meet physical demands, including standing for long periods, is required.
  • Familiarity with food safety guidelines is also expected.
