Position Overview

The Memorial Cancer Institute (MCI), a key component of the Memorial Healthcare System, is actively seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Medical Oncologist with a specialization in breast cancer. This role is integral to a multidisciplinary team committed to providing exceptional cancer care.

About the Institute

MCI is recognized nationally for its excellence, holding accreditation from the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers and designated as a Cancer Center of Excellence by the Florida Department of Health. The successful candidate will collaborate with a dedicated team of five breast medical oncologists and four breast surgical oncologists, supported by a robust team of Advanced Practice Providers (APP).

Collaboration and Care

The selected physician will work alongside a diverse group of medical, surgical, and radiation oncologists to deliver comprehensive treatment options tailored to patients' needs. Additionally, the role includes collaboration with integrative medicine specialists to enhance patient well-being and quality of life.

Academic and Research Opportunities

This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the education of future physicians through the ACGME-accredited Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship Program. The candidate will also engage in clinical research, participating in patient enrollment and institutional research initiatives, with ample resources available for academic pursuits through partnerships with nearby universities.

Employment Details

This is a full-time employed position within the multispecialty Memorial Physician Group. The role includes a competitive benefits package and compensation commensurate with experience and training. Professional malpractice and medical liability coverage are provided under sovereign immunity.
