Position Overview

The Memorial Cancer Institute (MCI), a part of the Memorial Healthcare System, is in search of a Board Eligible/Board Certified Medical Oncologist with a focus on breast cancer and related diseases. This role involves collaboration within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing exceptional cancer care.

About the Institute

MCI is recognized by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers and has earned the designation of Cancer Center of Excellence from the Florida Department of Health. The selected physician will be part of a comprehensive team that includes five breast medical oncologists and four breast surgical oncologists, supported by a robust team of Advanced Practice Providers (APP).

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a diverse team of medical, surgical, and radiation oncologists to deliver comprehensive treatment options.
  • Engage with integrative medicine specialists to enhance patient well-being and quality of life.
  • Participate in the training of future physicians through Memorial's ACGME-accredited Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship Program.
  • Contribute to clinical research initiatives, including patient enrollment and participation in institutional research forums.

Employment Details

This is a full-time employed position within the multispecialty Memorial Physician Group.
