Job SummaryThe Airport Operations Manager will be responsible for directing supervisory personnel within assigned functional areas, overseeing staffing requirements, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role will also involve monitoring and administering discipline and corrective action, as well as maintaining and controlling all required aspects of the operation in accordance with corporate security programs and TSA legislation.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and supervise a team of airport operations staff, ensuring that customer satisfaction, safety, security, quality, and employee relations meet or exceed standards.
- Oversee and advise on staffing requirements, ensuring that the right personnel are in place to meet customer needs.
- Monitor and administer discipline and corrective action, ensuring that all actions are fair and equitable.
- Ensure that all required company audit requirements are undertaken to ensure continuity and compliance at all times.
- Read, understand, and clarify the implementation of the site-specific security plan, ensuring that all WFS staff are issued with a relevant company ID and that they are required to display this identity badge.
- Two to five years of previous management/supervisory experience in field service duties.
- College degree or equivalent experience.
- Airline pricing experience.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and days off.
- Familiarity with personal computer software.
- Independent judgment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
