Responsibilities:
The Clinical Pharmacist adheres to established hospital and departmental protocols concerning the preparation, storage, management, and distribution of medications prescribed by the Medical and Dental Staff. The role includes:
- Filling orders for intravenous and enteral medications.
- Monitoring patient medication therapies.
- Providing comprehensive drug information to healthcare professionals.
- Supervising and guiding pharmacy support staff.
- Assuming pharmacy manager responsibilities in their absence.
Requirements:
Applicants must possess a PharmD degree and hold a valid Registered Pharmacist license in New York. Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
Compensation:
The estimated salary for this position is USD $72.74 per hour. This figure is a good faith estimate and actual compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience. Additional forms of compensation and benefits are not included in this range.
