MCC Label is seeking a skilled Flexographic Printing Press Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating our flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality labels for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate flexographic printing presses to produce labels in accordance with customer specifications.
  • Monitor and maintain press conditions to ensure optimal print quality and efficiency.
  • Perform daily housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Complete make-ready procedures to ensure correct print cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling, and anilox rollers are used.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure product specifications, visual, and functional checks are met.
  • Operate press to produce product in accordance with customer specifications while maintaining quality, waste, and press efficiency.
  • Maintain consistent quality during production runs, including critical quality checks such as copy, color, and registration, and ink adhesion.
  • Complete all related procedures, work instructions, and quality measurements as outlined in the BRC standard.
  • Perform equipment maintenance duties and clean plate, cylinder, and ink pans as needed.
  • Input all required information into the GlobeTek system for material usage and time in an accurate and prompt manner.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years of experience as a printing press operator or training.
  • Ability to stand, use hands to feel and touch, reach with arms and hands, talk, and hear.
  • Frequent walking required.
  • Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling required.
  • Ability to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
