KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with the Service Advisor to ascertain the scope of work requested and acknowledge customers awaiting service.
- Conduct a comprehensive 21-point vehicle maintenance inspection report. Inform the Service Advisor of any recommended services or necessary repairs.
- Execute tasks as detailed on the repair order with precision and efficiency, adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Promptly notify the Service Consultant if additional work is required, if the outlined work is unnecessary, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised timeframe.
- Perform engine, power steering, coolant, transmission, and brake flushes.
- Carry out oil changes and lubrication tasks while checking all filters.
- Diagnose issues to determine necessary repairs.
- Inspect all vehicle fluid levels, including but not limited to: power steering, windshield washer, transmission, transaxle, engine oil, coolant, brake, clutch, t-case, front and rear differentials, and any fluids based on vehicle type.
- Rotate tires and verify and adjust tire pressure as recommended by manufacturers, ensuring proper torque on lug nuts using a torque wrench or torque sticks, and changing tires while adhering to all safety protocols.
- High School Diploma required.
- Technical School Training required.
- ASE Certifications are advantageous.
- Professional demeanor and communication skills.
